OVERVIEW
SkinSourcer is a brand and trading name of LORYN LLC.
In these Terms of Service, “SkinSourcer,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to LORYN LLC operating as SkinSourcer. “You” and “your” refer to anyone who visits, accesses, interacts with, or purchases through https://skinsourcer.com.
The website, online store, content, products, features, tools, and related services are collectively called the “Services.”
SkinSourcer offers a curated shopping experience focused on imported cosmetic skincare. Products may be offered in limited quantities through finite product drops.
Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy at https://skinsourcer.com/privacy, Returns and Refund Policy at https://skinsourcer.com/returns, and any other policies referenced here, explain your rights and responsibilities when using the Services.
By visiting, accessing, interacting with, or purchasing through the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services or place an order.
SECTION 1: ELIGIBILITY, ACCESS, AND ACCOUNTS
By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, territory, or country of residence.
If you permit a minor dependent to use the Services through a device or account you own or manage, you are responsible for that use.
You may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and payment information. You represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete and that you have the right to provide it.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for all activity occurring through your account. You may not sell, transfer, assign, or license your account to another person.
We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms.
SECTION 2: OUR PRODUCTS
SkinSourcer sells imported cosmetic skincare in limited quantities. Each product drop is a finite import. When a product sells out, it may or may not return.
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, photographs, colors, packaging, ingredients, sizes, and other details accurately. However:
- Colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen and device settings.
- Packaging may differ from photographs when a manufacturer updates its packaging.
- Manufacturers may change ingredients, formulations, instructions, or packaging without advance notice.
- Translations and descriptions are provided for convenience and may summarize information appearing on original packaging.
Always read the product packaging, ingredient list, warnings, and instructions you receive before using a product. If information on the product packaging differs from information displayed on our website, contact us at hello@skinsourcer.com before use.
We do not guarantee that a product’s appearance, texture, scent, performance, or results will meet your personal expectations.
We may change product descriptions, limit quantities, restrict sales to particular locations and/or discontinue products at any time.
SECTION 3: COSMETICS AND SKINCARE INFORMATION
Unless expressly stated otherwise, products sold by SkinSourcer are cosmetics and are not drugs, medical devices, or medical treatments.
Information provided through SkinSourcer is for general educational and product-information purposes. It is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Individual results vary. Product reviews, editorial opinions, testimonials, photographs, clinical-study information, and customer experiences do not guarantee that you will receive the same result.
Patch test new skincare products before broader use. Stop using a product if you experience irritation or an adverse reaction.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have a medical condition, known allergy, persistent irritation, are pregnant or nursing, use prescription skincare, or are uncertain whether a product is appropriate for you.
In an emergency or serious adverse reaction, seek immediate medical care.
SECTION 4: ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation only confirms that we received your order. It does not guarantee acceptance.
An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or begin fulfillment. Payment must be authorized and processed before an order is accepted.
We may refuse, limit, modify, or cancel an order for reasons including:
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment
- Incorrect product or pricing information
- Inventory discrepancies
- Quantity limits
- An incomplete or undeliverable address
- A location we cannot legally or practically serve
- Suspected commercial resale or unauthorized export
- Violation of these Terms
If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the canceled amount to the original payment method.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it. We may be unable to change or cancel an order after fulfillment begins.
Unless you have a separate written wholesale agreement with us, purchases are for personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.

SECTION 5: LIMITED INVENTORY
Inventory shown on the website reflects the quantity we reasonably believe is available, but inventory errors can occur.
Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it. A product may sell out before checkout is completed.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and refund the unavailable item. We are not required to replace it with another product.
SECTION 6: PRICES, TAXES, AND PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices, discounts, and promotions may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at checkout when you submit your order. We will not increase the product price after your order is placed.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other required charges will be displayed before payment.
SkinSourcer currently ships only within the United States. If international shipping becomes available, customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other government fees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Promotions may have separate rules. If promotion-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion-specific terms control for that promotion.
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information. You represent that:
- You are authorized to use the payment method provided.
- The information provided is accurate and complete.
- Charges submitted in connection with your order will be honored.
- You will pay the final amount shown at checkout.
We may correct pricing or listing errors. If an error affects an order you submitted, we may contact you for approval of the corrected order or cancel and refund it.
SECTION 7: SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
SkinSourcer currently ships within the United States only.
Orders ship from San Luis Obispo, California. Standard shipping is a flat $7 unless a different price or promotion is displayed at checkout.
The estimated delivery period is 5 to 8 business days. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur because of carriers, weather, address problems, holidays, service interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will ship orders within the period stated at checkout or on our website. If no shipping period is stated, we will ship within the period required by applicable law.
If we cannot ship within the promised or legally required period, we will provide any notice, cancellation option, or refund required by law.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect address supplied by you.
To the extent permitted by law, responsibility for an order passes to you when the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided.
Claims involving damaged, incorrect, missing, or undelivered orders are governed by our Returns and Refund Policy at https://skinsourcer.com/returns.
SECTION 8: RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND FINAL SALE
Due to the hygienic and personal-use nature of skincare, all sales are final except when:
- A product arrives damaged
- You receive the wrong product
- An order is confirmed lost or undelivered
- A refund or return is required by applicable law
- Our Returns and Refund Policy expressly permits a refund or replacement
Opening, testing, disliking, or experiencing an individual reaction to a cosmetic product does not automatically make the product eligible for return.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email hello@skinsourcer.com within seven days of delivery. Include your order number and a photograph showing the problem.
If your order does not arrive, email hello@skinsourcer.com with your order number. We will investigate the shipment. If it is confirmed lost in transit, we will replace it or refund it.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
SECTION 9: RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
SkinSourcer is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with SkinSourcer.
By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and SkinSourcer, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products or services.
You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with SkinSourcer, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
SECTION 10: PRIVACY
Personal information collected through the Services is handled according to the SkinSourcer Privacy Policy:

Because Shopify hosts the Services, Shopify collects and processes certain information about your access to and use of the Services. Information may be transmitted to Shopify and other service providers in countries outside your place of residence.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the applicable privacy policies.

SECTION 11: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The SkinSourcer website and its original content, including text, editorial reviews, page designs, graphics, videos, audio, photographs owned by us, product selections, Source Reports, Edits, and the arrangement of those materials, are owned by or licensed to SkinSourcer and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
SkinSourcer names, logos, designs, slogans, and original marks are trademarks or other intellectual property belonging to LORYN LLC or its licensors.
Third-party brand names, product names, trademarks, packaging, and product images belong to their respective owners. They appear for identification, commentary, editorial, or product-sale purposes and do not imply that a brand owns, sponsors, endorses, or operates SkinSourcer.
You may use the Services for personal, noncommercial purposes.
Without written permission, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit, publicly display, scrape, use to train an artificial-intelligence model, or create derivative works from our original content.
Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use intellectual property belonging to SkinSourcer, Shopify, a product manufacturer, or any other party.
SECTION 12: REVIEWS, REQUESTS, AND FEEDBACK
“Feedback” includes reviews, ideas, suggestions, sourcing requests, product requests, photographs, videos, comments, proposals, and other content you submit to us.
You retain ownership of content you own. By submitting Feedback, you grant SkinSourcer a worldwide, nonexclusive, perpetual, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and promote that Feedback in any medium for lawful business purposes.
You represent that:
- You own the Feedback or have permission to submit it.
- The Feedback is accurate and not misleading.
- You have disclosed any compensation, free product, discount, or incentive connected with it.
- The Feedback does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
- The Feedback does not contain malicious software.
We may quote or summarize sourcing requests anonymously in editorial content. We will not intentionally publish your name, email address, shipping address, or other direct contact information with an anonymous sourcing request.
We may monitor, edit, decline, or remove Feedback, but we are not required to do so.
We are not required to keep Feedback confidential, compensate you for it, or respond to it.
SECTION 13: THE SHELF, THIRD-PARTY LINKS, AND AFFILIATE LINKS
The Shelf is SkinSourcer’s editorial collection of products already available through other U.S. brands and retailers.

SkinSourcer does not directly sell products displayed on The Shelf unless a page expressly identifies the item as a SkinSourcer Drop.
When you purchase through an external retailer, your transaction is with that retailer and is governed by its prices, terms, shipping policies, privacy practices, and return policies. SkinSourcer is not a party to that transaction.
The Services may contain links, embedded content, or functionality provided by third parties. We do not control or guarantee third-party websites, products, services, policies, pricing, availability, security, or accuracy.
Some editorial links are affiliate links. If you purchase through an affiliate link, SkinSourcer may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

Questions or complaints concerning a third-party purchase should be directed to the applicable retailer.
SECTION 14: OPTIONAL TOOLS
We may provide access to tools or services operated by third parties. We do not necessarily monitor or control these tools.
Third-party tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Your use of them is at your discretion and may be subject to separate third-party terms and privacy policies.
We may introduce new features, tools, and resources. Unless separate terms apply, they will be treated as part of the Services and governed by these Terms.
SECTION 15: AI AGENTS AND AUTOMATED ACCESS
For this section, an “Agent” means software or a service that acts autonomously or semi-autonomously for a person or entity, including an AI shopping agent, automated browser, or agentic software service.
An Agent may access or interact with the Services only when it:
- Clearly identifies itself as an Agent.
- Discloses the Agent’s name in its user-agent string using the format
Agent/[agent name]. - Does not conceal or misrepresent automated activity as human activity.
- Responds truthfully when asked whether an interaction is automated.
- Does not complete, defeat, or circumvent CAPTCHAs or other measures designed to distinguish automated activity from human activity.
- Complies with robots directives and other technical access controls.
- Does not bypass any restriction, security measure, authorization requirement, or request to stop accessing the Services.
- Does not scrape, reproduce, or use protected content beyond the access necessary to assist the user and permitted by law.
- Does not place an order without valid authorization from the person or entity it represents.
We may limit or block Agent access using technical or administrative measures. An Agent must stop accessing the Services if we request that it stop.
Automated access that complies with this section is not prohibited solely because it is automated.
SECTION 16: PROHIBITED USES
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes.
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate any law, regulation, ordinance, or third-party right
- Commit fraud or provide false or misleading information
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or proprietary rights
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, impersonate, or harm another person
- Upload or transmit malicious code
- Send spam, phishing messages, chain letters, or unauthorized advertising
- Collect or track personal information without authorization
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Services
- Bypass security, access controls, purchase limits, or fraud-prevention measures
- Reproduce, extract, sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Services or protected content without permission
- Use automated systems except as permitted under Section 15
- Assist another person in doing anything prohibited by these Terms
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
SECTION 17: ERRORS AND CORRECTIONS
The Services may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, ingredients, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, transit times, or availability.
We may correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders at any time. If we cancel an order after payment because of an error, we will refund the canceled amount.
SECTION 18: DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Information available through the Services is provided for general informational purposes. We do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, accurate, or suitable for your individual circumstances.
Except where expressly stated by SkinSourcer or required by law, the Services and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and noninfringement.
We do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
SECTION 19: LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LORYN LLC, SkinSourcer, Shopify, and their respective affiliates, owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, exemplary, or consequential damages.
This includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, replacement costs, or similar damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the Services
- Your purchase or use of a product
- Errors or omissions in content
- Content or products made available through the Services
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your information
This limitation applies regardless of whether a claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or another theory, even if the possibility of damages was disclosed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.
SECTION 20: INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LORYN LLC, SkinSourcer, Shopify, and their respective affiliates, owners, partners, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from:
- Your material breach of these Terms.
- Your violation of applicable law.
- Your violation of another person’s rights.
- Your misuse of the Services.
We will provide reasonable notice of an indemnifiable claim. Failure to provide prompt notice will relieve you of an obligation only to the extent the delay materially prejudices you.
We may control the defense and settlement of a claim at your expense, but we will not agree to a settlement requiring a nonmonetary obligation from you without your reasonable consent.
You agree to cooperate in the defense.
SECTION 21: TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or create legal, security, or operational risk.
You remain responsible for amounts properly due before termination.
Sections concerning intellectual property, Feedback, warranties, liability, indemnification, dispute terms, and other provisions that should logically survive will remain effective after termination.
SECTION 22: SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or severed if necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
SECTION 23: WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms and the policies incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement between you and SkinSourcer concerning the Services. They replace prior versions and prior communications concerning the same subject.
Any ambiguity will not automatically be interpreted against the party that drafted these Terms.
SECTION 24: ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer or assign these Terms or your rights or obligations under them without our written consent.
We may transfer or assign these Terms and our rights and obligations as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other lawful business transaction.
SECTION 25: GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide the Services are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any mandatory consumer-protection rights available under the laws of your place of residence remain unaffected.
To the extent permitted by law, you and SkinSourcer consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in San Luis Obispo County, California.
SECTION 26: CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
The current version of these Terms will be available at:
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. If required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
Changes apply from the effective date stated in the revised Terms. The version in effect when you place an order will govern that order unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Headings are included for readability and do not change the meaning of these Terms.
